As a bellydance instructor and performer, Aleenah creates a unique fusion of Turkish, Gypsy, Egyptian, Greek, and Tribal bellydance. Her original costume designs and artful interpretation of music contribute to creating exciting and unforgettable performances. Aleenah performs regularly at various venues in Connecticut that have included Istanbul Café, Thali Indian Restaurant, Gotham Citi Café, Hyatt Regency Greenwich Hotel, Connecticut College, Caffe Bottega, Miller Library, Evergreen Woods Retirement Center, Darbar Indian Restaurant, University of Hartford, Villa Capri Banquet Hall, Adulis Cafe, Garde Arts Center, and Toad's Place among others. Aleenah’s expertise allows her to adapt programs to the specific needs and goals of her students, whether they are looking for fitness, stronger dance technique, choreography, improvisational skills, professional stage presence, or just dancing for fun.
