  Carrie Page Huppunen began her studies as a young child at the Allegra Dance Studio. Carrie showed tremendous interest and natural ability in dance as a young dance student. Carrie became a member of the youngest Company at age 8 and continued through the Allegra Performing Companies until graduating from high school. Carrie studied Classical Ballet and Pointe with Gelsy Kirkland at the time when Ms. Kirkland was a staff member at Allegra. Showing great potential as a ballerina, Carrie believed in diversification and studied jazz and tap as well. Carrie became a featured dancer in the companies at a young age, showing professional level committment as a teenager and prioritizing her dance throughout her high school years. Carrie set the example for all her peers in her extremely high level of devotion and skill. Upon graduation Carrie was accepted into the prestigious dance department at New York University and graduated with a BFA in Dance in 1998. After receiving her accrediation as a personal trainer, Carrie spent two years in California studying the cutting edge techniques of modern dance and started to choreograph in her own unique style of incorporating Modern Dance with Classical Ballet and Jazz.

  In 2002, Carrie returned to Allegra to become the assistant director of Allegra and director of the very successful Children's Summer Dance and Theatre Camps. Carrie is presently choreographing for the Allegra Dance Theatre Extreme which is a professional company originating from alumni of Allegra Dance. Carrie is in demand as a very successful and popular children's dance teacher presently running all of the satellite programs Allegra offers. She is full time resident dance instructor at Greenwich Country Day School, Eastern Middle School Winter Dance Program and is teaching at Julian Curtis School and Parkway School. Carrie is the director of the children's Allegra On Tap Company as well as Production Director of the Allegra Dance Companies. Carrie's high energy and educational classes usually command a full class with many on the waiting list. Carrie Page continues to help Claudia DeVita with all aspects of directing the Allegra Dance Studio.
